Open source software is the foundation of today’s computing landscape. Companies using open source software need to implement business processes to help them comply with open source licenses. SPDX is a community project, sponsored by the Linux Foundation, that helps standardize the delivery of open source licensing information.

Heather Meeker, partner at O’Melveny & Myers, and Mark Gisi, Senior IP Manager, Wind River Systems (and member of the SPDX working group), discuss the benefits of SPDX, and how you can leverage SPDX to streamline license compliance.
