SPDX at 2012 Events
I'll be at FUDCon, and would be willing to go through a basic abstract (while not committing Fedora to anything). ~tom == Fedora Project

Status of spdx.org
I am not currently active on SPDX efforts at the moment, as it is unclear whether or not Fedora will participate going forward at this point. I suppose you don't have to add mediawiki just for me then

zlib and libpng licenses clarification
For SPDX, I suppose it makes sense to take the templated zlib and call it "zlib", and call the libpng variant "libpng", even though I don't think Fedora will ever make that distinction. ~tom == Fedora

zlib and libpng licenses clarification
Sure, but in the case of libpng's license, the difference is more significant than Copyright holder identifiers. It doesn't fundamentally change the license's meaning, but it is technically different

Yes, but I think the general trend for the SPDX initiative has been that any difference in wording (with the possible exception of copyright holder identifiers), even if it has no effect on the rights

zlib and libpng licenses clarification
Fedora treats these two licenses as functionally identical, and calls them both "zlib". The third license looks to just be a templated version of the zlib license. ~tom == Fedora Project

License List spreadsheet v1.1
To the best of my understanding, there have been several different Python license versions, but the licenses are self-superseding, in that as new versions arrive, they automatically apply. ~tom

This is fantastic, thanks Martin! I'll bring the content from Fedora over to the spdx.org site this week. Apologies for missing last Thursday's meeting (Thursdays are... busy for me). Was there any fe

Well, there are a few things: 1. New page creation is really awkward. 2. There is no native wiki link syntax, so I would end up making a lot of long URLs that aren't useful. 3. There is no native wiki

Fair enough. :) I'm still hopeful that there is some wiki intelligence in addition to Drupal already present, and if not, I can make the case for us to move to mediawiki. ;) ~tom

Drupal isn't really a wiki, it's a CMS. That distinction is important here, because it means we can't do anything besides basic HTML. ~spot

Just out of curiousity, what kind of wiki is FOSSBazaar using? It doesn't seem very full featured, so a lot of what I discussed doing at LinuxCon is going to be much more complicated. However, assumin
