If such a tool is to be used over time with some future extensions of
new tags and attributes, it would be well if the editor continued to work.
I have no problem with the idea that it normally only be able to
recognize the current SPDX XML dialect and flag anything outside of that
set as a possible problem.
I suggest it should be possible to pass the current file to an on-line
validator to get the proper indication of valid/invalid rather than
hardcoding that into the XML Editor itself.
Perhaps it would be wise for the XML Editor to consume a file of the
curent DTDs for whatever happens to be the current SPDX XML dialect?
